«Skoroparka 2017» stove is a next step forward for TMF’s series of innovative wood-burning sauna stoves with continuous steam generation providing quick heating of the Russian banya.
The stove is designed for heating a steam room of capacity from 16 to 24 cubic meters.
Except for the stove with sauna heater itself, the hot water tank of 52 litres capacity, and the first shielded basic module of the flue, cooled down by steam, are included in the price of Skoroparka 2017 set.
This stove was designed taking into account the seven years of experience in design, operation, critics and numerous public reviews of the previous models of sauna stoves with continuous steam generation.
The stove has all the advantages of the previously manufactured TMF’s sauna stoves, namely:
• The key component of the Russian banya is overheated steam with the temperature up to 400°С.
• Heats the steam room within the shortest possible period of time and maintains the perfect temperature for the Russian banya with minimum human intervention.
• Generates unlimited amount of overheated steam of the quality unachievable for traditional metal stoves.
• Enables quick change of micro climate in banya: from the mildest and comfortable to the extremely hot.
Many prospective purchasers of banya stoves used to abstain from purchasing those stoves as they were of a very unusual design: there was no sauna heater, as well as capacity of the integrated hot water and steam generation tank was not sufficient.
That is exactly why the new Skoroparka 2017 stove differs from the previous models by the classic design of TMF’s sauna stoves, the integrated non-ventilated sauna heater, and the hot water and steam generation tank was increased in capacity up to 52 litres.
As Skoroparka 2017 stove has the same installation and overall dimensions as a TMF’s medium size sauna stove, it can be easily installed to replace one.
Design of such key units of a sauna stove with continuous steam generation as the furnace, the sauna heater, the hot water and steam generation tank, was the subject of major changes.
The furnace has become of the square shape and higher capacity. It is designed taking into account wood up to 50cm long. The side and the rear surface of the furnace are cooled down by air convection. The stove has the integrated non-ventilated sauna heater with capacity of 20 litres, which is heated by heat emission of a flame from the bottom and by convected heat of burning gases from the side. The furnace enables to increase humidity of a steam room dramatically in order to create steam zones.
The hot water and steam generation tank was significantly increased in its capacity up to 52 litres. It is made of 2mm thick stainless steel. All of the welded airtight joints of the tank are of T-shape. They are made on the outside, available for easy access and repair at home. The tank is heated by emission of a flame from the bottom and by convected heat of burning gases from the side. The areas of the tank, which are heated for steam generation, are increased up to 26 square decimetres, due to which heating capacity of the stove has increased. The integrated tank of the stove has a wide throat, which is convenient for filling the tank with water from a bucket, and it also provides easy access for inspection and cleaning of the tank. The tank’s throat has the sealed cover with easy-to-use lock. The emergency valve, lowering pressure in the tank in case of emergency, is also placed on the cover.
The tank may be connected with additional tank of higher capacity via either of the two dismountable taps, placed on the both sides of the stove, in order to keep the constant level of water in it.
Reheater is placed on pipe: it is integrated into basic module of the flue that supplied with the stove. Since the temperature in the flue changes significantly depending on the intensity of the stove’s operation, the temperature of the steam supplied to the steam room from the reheater is changes accordingly. This is done for the purpose of obtaining high-temperature steam for quick heating of the steam room and mild hot steam for taking a steam bath using the bath besom and preventing the steam room from drying out.
Between the hot wall of the basic module of the flue and its outer casing, there is a spiral guide, through which steam from the boiling tank of the stove passes from the bottom upwards along a spiral trajectory and overheats to the desired temperature from heat emission of the flue’s wall.
Shortly after ignition of the stove and before the steam generation, the outer casing of the on-pipe reheater is heated substantially for the quickest heating of the steam room by heat emission. Its temperature decreases dramatically after the beginning of steam generation and heat emission from on-pipe reheater is barely sensed.
The con-shaped deflector is installed on top of the on-pipe reheater at the overheated steam outlet for better dissolving of steam in the air of the steam room.
The steam room heated by Skoroparka 2017 stove is of slightly higher relative humidity under the same temperature, in comparison with the previous sauna stoves. The stove is also capable of maintaining the constant level of relative humidity even during taking a steam bath.
The product line includes 3 models of Skoroparka 2017 stove: with the standard flue channel and the gazed door made of stainless steel in order to observe the stove’s furnace from another room; with the short flue channel and the gazed door made of stainless steel in order to observe the stove’s furnace from the steam room; with Vitra large translucent door in order to observe the stove’s furnace from another room. All of the models are made in anthracite colour.
The new sauna stove is designed to increase TMF’s share in the sector of wood-burning sauna stoves with continuous steam generation for the Russian banya.
