Safari is the first fireplace-stove with heat retaining laded stones of the Tefrmofor heaters’ line. Designed for 200 m3 of heated area.
Main feature of Safari fireplace-stoves that distinguish it from other heating stoves is large number (up to 220kg) of heat retaining stones laded and unique design, which makes it one-of-a-kind in the Russian stove industry.
Heating performance effectiveness of large number of heated stones is out of question. As specific heat capacity of stones is way higher than the one of steel and their total heat exchange surface is huge. Stones keep heat for a long period of time, screen strong heat radiation of metal fire chamber very well and heat air in a room by means of natural air convection through mesh casing extremely well.
Construction of the stove based on the popular type of Statika Tetra fireplace-stoves. It is similar with Statika by its vertical-oriented fire chamber.
Mesh casing for the stove and the flue are cut from 3 millimeters thick solid steel sheets and have enough durability and hardness to retain laded stones securely and without deformation.
Mesh casing of the stove contains up to 140kg of stones, flue casing – up to 80kg.
Upper door of the fire box equipped with heat-resisting glass and the clean glass system keeps it clean from the moment of kindling to the end of burning.
Lower door of cinder box allows to adjust the air inflow by means of the oven door and to choose any mode of the stove operation – from intensive to efficient.
High door of the fire box allows to fill the stove with firewood as much as possible for a long continuous burning. The stove may be kindled by the classic lower firing as well as the upper firing due to inflow of the secondary hot air into the upper tier of the stove fire box.
Ribbed stiffeners on the side surfaces of the fire box increase heat emission substantially and provides stiffness avoiding deformation during the stove operation.
There is the gas pipe with additional air inflow for after-burning of the outgoing gases inside the fire chamber. This additionally raises fire temperature for heating of stones and increases room heating effectiveness. Pipe is dismountable for easy cleaning.
Mass production of the stove is planned in two modifications – Safari and Safari Light. Models has the same construction and principle of operation. They differ from each other by the mesh casing of the flue. There is no mesh casing in Safari Light and Safari has one as the set.
The stove looks very good form any point of view so it can be installed not only near the wall, but also in the center of the room.
We recommend to lade the stove with raspberry-red quartzite the one of a red-cinnamon color or white quartz for maximum visual similarity of actual stoves with one provided in the advertising and information materials. You can also use other types of stones in order to create your own design, fitting the interior.
